Terms and Conditions

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, signing in, or using NMhelper, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

School heads are responsible for ensuring teachers they add are authorized to use NMhelper for that school.

2. What NMhelper provides

NMhelper helps authorized school staff record daily class strength (boys/girls counts), view reports and history, and export data. The service may work offline on supported devices; data syncs when connectivity is available.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, updates, or network issues may cause temporary downtime.

3. Accounts and security

• Accounts are for school heads, teachers, and system administrators only.
• You must keep your username and password confidential. Do not share login credentials with unauthorized persons.
• Heads may reset passwords for teachers they manage. System administrators may reset head passwords when authorized.
• You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access: nishalamv@gmail.com.

4. Data you enter

NMhelper is designed to store class-level counts, not personal student profiles (names, photos, Aadhaar, etc.). You agree to:

• Enter accurate strength data to the best of your knowledge.
• Use the app only for legitimate school administration purposes.
• Comply with applicable school and education rules in your region.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Attempt to break security, probe systems, or access data belonging to other schools.
• Use the service for unlawful, harmful, or misleading purposes.
• Reverse engineer or resell the service without written permission.
• Upload malware or interfere with other users.

6. Subscriptions and fees

Schools may be on a trial or paid plan as agreed with the operator. Subscription end dates and class limits may be enforced in the app. Non-payment or expiry may restrict write access while preserving read-only or export features where configured.

7. Intellectual property

NMhelper software, branding, and documentation are owned by the operator. You receive a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service for your school while your account is active and in good standing.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

NMhelper is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including loss of data due to device failure, mis-entry, or connectivity issues.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for NMhelper in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or INR 1,000 if no fee was paid, whichever is greater.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access if these Terms are violated, for security reasons, or if required by law. Schools may request account or data deletion as described on our data deletion page.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. The effective date at the top will change. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Kerala, India shall have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections where applicable.
